11/11/2009

As part of the company’s commitment to supporting its dealers, Crestron has announced an even more comprehensive training programme for 2010.  With the addition of three new courses, and the expansion of its core Foundation Course, Crestron now offers one of the most in-depth and valued training programmes in the CI and AV markets.

Mike Backler, Head of Training at Crestron, explains, “The Crestron Training Programme is designed to equip integrators for the control system design and programming challenges facing commercial and residential A/V professionals everyday.  We have three new courses for 2010 as our course curriculum has been expanded to better serve the needs of our dealers and programmers and we have also produced a Training Guide to outline which courses we run, where they are running and what delegates need to know in order to make the most of them.  We provide the best training in the industry through our regional offices, as well as through our online offering which is ever-expanding and gives delegates convenience and 24/7 access to information about installing and programming systems. ”

NEW COURSES FOR 2010

DigitalMedia: There is no question that the digital age is here today. Lighting Specifier Training: The next generation of lighting controls achieves an unprecedented level of comfort, convenience and optimised energy savings and there is huge demand for these products today.  This new course for 2010 is designed to introduce Crestron’s lighting systems and aims to show the dealer how to specify, install and programme Crestron lighting products.  The course is designed for lighting specifiers, lighting designers, architects and electrical engineers and offers comprehensive information for both sales and engineering roles.

D3Pro Programming: Another new addition to the timetable, this course introduces the programmer to the D3Pro programming software in order to Design, Develop and Document Crestron Lighting control systems. Through a series of exercises, delegates are introduced to D3Pros features and taught to take  programs to the next level, with introductions to custom templates and modules, through Security and HVAC integration and linking in with the AV Processor.
