Hot News: Reporting in from a very busy stand at BETT2010
Crestron has made its debut this year at the education show BETT2010 - and what a success it has proved to be.
BETT is all about ‘learning together through technology’ and the exhibition took place on 13 – 16 January 2010 in London. The education market has remained quite buoyant despite the recent downturn, and following the show it is clear that it will remain so for sometime yet.
Crestron had a presence in two areas of the show – on the Crestron stand the focus was to demonstrate how Crestron integrated systems are proving essential in the world of education (many of the top universities specify Crestron products). Second Crestron representatives were present on the Texas Instruments stand. This collaboration enabled both teams to demonstrate the joint product line - the TI DLP projectors which are connected and controlled via the LAN using our RoomView® Express software.
The latest projectors built on DLP technology offer standard Ethernet connectivity, and Crestron RoomView provides the power and flexibility of complete management and control of all projectors remotely and globally on the network. Crestron control is built into DLP projectors to deliver direct network management without a control system or programming.
The show generated a substantial number of new business contacts and leads, and it is largely anticipated that Crestron will participate again in 2011. For more details, contact your Crestron Account Manager.
