Crestron introduces the DM-TX-200-2G and DM-TX-400-3G DigitalMedia (DM) wall plate transmitters.
The standard 2- and 3-gang transmitters provide convenient connectivity for computers, laptops and high-definition AV sources.
These interfaces are the perfect solution for integrating digital and analogue sources via a single cable. HDMI, VGA and USB-HID inputs are available on the DM-TX-200-2G. The DM-TX-400-3G adds RCA jacks for stereo audio, analogue video and 5.1 SPDIF audio. A mini-TRS stereo audio input is also provided on both to accept computer or headphone audio. Both transmitters are ideal for wall, lectern, and floor box applications in a boardroom, classroom or residence to provide and input for a laptop computer or similar source.
Remotely access and control the room PC or centralised computer from the podium or conference table. Simply connect a keyboard and mouse to the USB port or plug in an RF dongle for wireless communication. The DM wall plates transmit all analogue and digital source signals up to 137 metres to any DM-MD series DigitalMedia switcher or DM-RMC-100 Room Controller via a single DM cable. DM provides a seamless upgrade path from analogue to digital without replacing installed equipment. Simply use a VGA cable to connect the output of a Crestron MPS to the DM wall plate. All analogue signals can be transmitted from the MPS over that one cable and then converted to DigitalMedia.
The DM-TX-400-3G will be shipping in the UK in April/May, while the DM-TX-200-2G will be available in May/June.
